Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “The 4K anime films we’ve gotten so far have consistantly been the ones which gain the most from a 4K release, and Castle of Cagliostro definitely benefits and merits this new release. If you don’t have a way to play 4K Blu-rays, my anime pick is season 1 of No Guns Life – it’s a really enjoyable cyberpunk anime with good writing. And if Anime is a strict no-go, there’s The Court Jester.” Blaine says, “that’s a great price on Taxi if you’re interested, and if your player can handle MOD titles, After the Thin Man is an enjoyable comedic mystery.”

  1. If you haven’t seen it and you like child-unfriendly superhero series, watch Doom Patrol.

    I remember Taxi from the 80s. I recall liking the early episodes, and then dropping it pretty quickly as it went along. YMMV. It’s also an early example of a series that was cancelled by one network and continued (briefly) on another.
