Dorky Geeky Nerdy #116 | Fantastic Four Trivia

It’s Trivia Time! One of the first superhero groups, The Fantastic Four is an iconic set that’s had a rocky road on the big screen. This week, we’re diving into Fantastic Four Trivia both on the page and on the screen.

Welcome to another episode of the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Trivia Podcast. This season, we’re going to try and cover a lot more superheroes and it’s way past time we got the Fantastic Four, don’t you think?

We also need your help with reviews on Podchasher.com. They are donating twenty-five cents to Meals on Wheels for every podcast review left during the month of April. Take a few seconds and drop us a review. It helps us and it helps a great charity. A rare win-win moment.

  1. I love the FF, but I am horribly distracted, so let’s see how I do:

Dorky – 9 points, 9 correct – I don’t know who directed Fant4stick, what does that monstrosity have to do with the Fantastic Four? Fictional Dictator? Be more specific, please.
Geeky – 10 points, 20 correct – I started keeping track of how many I got wrong instead.
Nerdy – 6 points, 18 correct – Here we go, some I don’t know! Nice!

Dan Slott’s run has a lot of answers, and I’ve been reading it to my kids, and we all love it a lot. Hickman’s run (mentioned in earlier questions) is also what I tend to list as my favorite comics series of all time, Mostly for that one climactic moment where Sue and Reed are defeated, look up, and see ______. That still hits me.

Also, another reason to hate Fant4stick, if it weren’t for that movie, I might have beaten Blaine for once!

    Wait…(actually does the math…)

  2. There’s this one Thing that keeps coming up in the answers. Anyway:

    Round One: 10 (10)
    Round Two: 6 (12)
    Round Three: 2 (6)

I read them when I was a kid, but I haven’t much kept up, and I went over to the DCU to have Zatanna wipe my mind of the film adaptations to date.

Hopefully, Disney/Marvel Studios will do a better job.
