  1. Wait just a minute!

Rebecca Romijn-Stamos as best supporting actress??? I’ll go along with most all of the other awards, but her? She had all of like 5 lines in the movie. And don’t get me wrong, I liked the movie.

I just saw ‘Crouching Tiger” and Zhang Ziyi’s performance was so many times better, this is one screw-up that I just can’t accept.

I wonder if the voters were thinking with something other than their brains on this one.

I stopped wondering about that when I saw Piper Perabo
nominated for Breakthrough Female Performance. Her acting
was so bad I found her difficult to watch, despite the
fact that she’s an incredibly attractive woman.

First: aren’t you commenting on the wrong story?

Second: Assuming you’re referring to her role in “Coyote Ugly,” I don’t think they were necessarily looking for high-quality thespians there… ;)

          Why, yes I did.

No, they weren’t. That’s fine, they just shouldn’t get
          nominated…

          • Re: Wait just a minute!
Well, the whole point of the MTV awards is to slap snobby movie critics and the like around. Not to be taken seriously at all. The Saturns appear to be heading down that same road…they don’t want to be taken seriously either.

Speaking of not using your brains, how the hell did “Fail Safe” win over Sci-Fi’s “Dune” miniseries???
