A few of our shows have taken the week off, which would make it seem like there is less to watch, but the Details Carry an infernal difference as Lucifer Season 5’s second half drops. The Legends also visit JFK, Black Lightning brings its show to a close, the Flash finishes last week’s two parter, Superman and Lois help train their son. Well, that was an interesting finale for Black Lightning. In particular, the fact that the things they relied on to win are all present at some point prior to use. Including a graphical effect that had been bothering me for the past half season.
Now that CW has passed on Painkiller, I’m hoping someone else picks it up. The setup they showed for it on Black Lightning looks promising.
Legends is absurd, but fun. It’s cure to see that they remembered Steel has powers.
I have to admit, Tyler Hoechlin is making me, a die hard Marvel fanboy, care about Superman. They are weird about which universe they are in. If we in the regular Arrowverse, just fast forwarded to the point that the kids are in high school, I guess that means that they realize the Multiverse didn’t go away during their Crisis crossover sometime before this show but after all the others?
Reviews are dropping to every two weeks again, but they haven’t really clarified how it works. We know that Clark and Lois’s one son became twins after Crisis, but it’s not clear if they also were born sooner and therefore are now teens, or if we’re ahead of the other series.
They’ve avoided crossovers, thus far.
