First thoughts
Short stuff first: Another Shore wasn’t bad, wasn’t fantastic… telegraphed to all get out.
Chaos, on the other had was quite good. Like Supergirl’s return to a more classic look, although I’m not wild about the hair. Like Another Shore, this episode had a fairly obvious ending, I was too wrapped up in the story to really notice. It was rather elegant writing that allowed an episode to have Supergirl as such a central character, yet give her so little screen time.

I enjoyed them both, although I thought the narrative (?) on the second one was a bit better. Also it seems to have a different name here.
I like that Supergirl is wearing blue again, but she still dresses like a teenage brat. I guess that’s kinda the point, though (:

Woner Woman doing the spinning thing from the TV Show to get out of her street clothes had me lauging out loud. So ridiculous. I hope that is not a regular addition to the series and just a shout-out to the 70’s roots of TV Wonder Woman….

I enjoyed them both, although I thought the narrative (?) on the second one was a bit better. Also it seems to have a different name here.

When I think about it, not giving her much screen time is an elegant way to demonstrate that she is not a spoiled teenage brat. She was essentially powerless for this episode. Yet aside from one or two comments early on, she didn’t make a big deal of it. In fact when the fewmets hit the windmill, she grabs a sword jumps in.

Yeah, they did a pretty good job of making her not a spoiled brat. That was supposed to be my point but I think I forgot to make it. Oops. I also have to say that the Japanese Supergirl Convention at the begining was hillarious.

That made me laugh, but I got a bigger kick out of the JLU vs Gamera fight. That was great!

Dang, I got reruns on saturday morning, and from checking, apparently it’s “true” run on YTV is on wednesdays at 7. Wednesday at SEVEN? Whatever happened to saturday morning cartoons?
On the upside: That new show Avatar is pretty good.
