Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “John Carpenter’s original Halloween film absolutely holds up, and I definitely think it’s worth picking up on 4K, if you have the ability to play 4K disks.” Blaine says, “get the best theatrical Transformers movie ever made, if you haven’t already.”

I’ve not seen What Really Happened to Baby Jane?, a gay/drag parody of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, so I cannot comment on it. Its inspiration, however, is an oddity worth watching, and the origin of Psycho-Biddy, which I’ve covered here.
The director’s future crimes notwithstanding, Rosemary’s Baby had a huge influence, and does a remarkable job of adapting a remarkable novel.
The Transformers The Movie and Clue The Movie are two of the better movies out there. I recommend both.
