So what will Klingons look like?
Will they have the full crest thing coing, or will they be somewhat yellowish guys with funny mustaches, like in TOS?

Nobody can be sure… I think the DS9 episode with the “Tribbles” flashback tries to explain this one away. IIRC, some not-quite-canon book claims that the yellowish guys with the wicked mad goatees are a small minority of the Klingon population, and have (apparently) died out by the Next-Gen era.
Like canon means a darn to anyone at Paramount these days…

I have heard on various email lists that the Klingons
will have ridges. Aside from the Tribbles DS9
episode, the old-style Klingons have not been acknowledged
by any on-screen incantation of Trek since TOS went off the air.
Hell, even in Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force (the
kick-ass PC game), the Klingons have ridges. Even though
their contemporary Federation counterparts have the
old-style ship and ship controls.
I am fully expecting ridges on Enterprise.

Heh, that’s what I pretty much assumed. I actually assumed there were two ‘types’ of Klingons, and at TOS time the non-crested ones were dominant, and how since been exterminated by the crested ones.
Except, why then would Worf say “We do not like to talk about it”? You’d think any TRUE Klingon warrior would have been PROUD to have totally exterminated the other ones.
I have two ideas about that… one is, non-crest guys are still around, and are secretly controlling the Crestites.
Or, the more likely idea – Crestites destroyed non-crestites by some really cowardly way which has no Honour. So now they’re just glossing it over.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Except that in Blood Oath(DS9) Kor, Koloth and Kang had become ‘Ridgies’, which they certainly werent when they first appeared in TOS

I think that the DS9 Tribbles ep just wasn’t canon, and that
the non-ridgies never actually existed. We are supposed to
just forget that TOS Klingons didn’t have ridges.
I guess you could also explain it as such: Klingons that
were warring with humans surgically altered their appearance
(ie got rid of the ridges) during the initial struggle with
the Federation. As time went on, they decided that the
altering was no longer necessary, and they could reveal
their true appearance to the Federation.
Ah, I like the first explanation better.
