Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “Yashahime generally worked really well even without having watched much of Inuyasha, so that one’s a tenative recommendation. Otherwise, I missed Eternals in theaters, so I need to give that a watch.” Blaine says, “of those I’ve seen, Doctor Who: Flux is my pick. I also need to check out Eternals.”
I recall really enjoying 200 Cigarettes, but I wonder if it holds up.
Also, its famous surprise cameo likely makes minimal sense to anyone not around in the 1980s.
My wife made me watch this sometime early in our marriage (over a decade ago.) I remember it wasn’t bad, but can’t remember enough of it to even remember there being a cameo.
Eternals got a bad rap, it wasn’t the best MCU has to offer, but it wasn’t DCEU bad.
