Writing with Fire

Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “For All Mankind benefitted tremendously from its Blu-Ray release, so I can see the 4K UHD release being just as stunning to watch (if you have the capability to play 4K UHD disks, naturally). Otherwise, on the anime front I’m going with Cat’s Eye (to upgrade my own DVD copies). Otherwise, the other non-anime titles that catch my interest this week are just other 4K titles (particularly Singin’ In The Rain).” Blaine says, “if you have 4K support, go with Singin’ In The Rain. If not, I’d go with Film Noir: The Dark Side of Cinema VI based on the strength of earlier volumes.”
