Summer marches on, and before the lawn is mowed, we have a fresh crop of vague (but present) episode descriptions.  Evil gets into cults.  Riverdale sees their final fight in the season finale.  Westworld’s target market had some criticisms for the show.  Better Call Saul gets new characters late in the season.  The Orville plays a simple game.  Primal visits a warrior village.

  1. Okay, The Orville got much better this season, and I am 15 minutes into the episode. They have a weapon to completely murder the aggressive species. To use it is Genocide, so they want to just show they can use it as a deterrent to make the enemy stand down.

    I completely agree that wiping out the entire species is wrong. And then I immediate began an internal debate about how not using just allows them to come up with a way to counter/neutralize this weapon, meaning that not using it means it’s useless. So, does that mean the ‘right’ answer is genocide?

    ….and that’s a serious discussion and moral quandary worthy of any Trek Series. Not the first time had such quandaries this season. Well done, Seth. Well done!
