Bureau’s Breakroom’s Television Table – Week beginning 2022 August 7

With the season finales last week, our lists seems like it’s in danger of running try, but fear not!  Comics and even some Star Trek are going to show up a bit later in August.  Now that we are done with the long range forecast, this week’s light table should allow enough time finish Sandman (in case you were sleeping on that.)  Evil takes on the stock market.  Westworld stops for a life changing drink,  Better Call Saul was showing as a finale episode, but other sources say we’ve got two episodes left.  Primal doesn’t offer us any details on its fifth episode.

[All synopses (and titles) from Trakt.tv below the cut, except when there really aren’t any. (If a show’s synopsis is a spoiler to you, do not click Continue reading →)]

The Sandman – S01 – The story of Dream, who wakes from a captive slumber of 105 years and sets out to restore the kingdom of the Dreaming, which has fallen into chaos in his absence.

Evil – S03E09 – The Demon of Money – [Penultimate episode] The team investigates claims that a demon has been stalking people who have invested in a stock tip. The Entity asks for David’s help in transitioning Grace Ling back.

  1. I didn’t watch season 2 but season 3 of Locke and Key looks to be out this week.

    • I added it to my Watch List for later:
Locke & Key – S03 – Three siblings who move into their ancestral estate after their father’s gruesome murder discover their new home’s magical keys, which must be used in their stand against an evil creature who wants the keys and their powers.

  2. HBO’s Game of Thrones was a bit to infatuated with the power of writers, at least at the end, and I strongly suspect that the writers were behind that. Westworld’s latest episode seems to be written by those same auto-felatiating writers.
