Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “For people with the ability to play 4K disks, I’m going with the either the Universal Classic Monsters collection or Dracula, The Wolf Man, or Frankenstein if you just want one movie. On the anime side, I absolutely “loved” Ranking of Kings, and give that show my full recommendation, with it’s compelling story and characters, and gorgeous story-book influenced animation. Outside of anime, I’m going with Nosferatu, if you don’t own a copy already.” Blaine says, “I also agree that the Universal Classic Monsters set is great, and would also highlight The Invisible Man as perhaps the best of the standalone movies. Beyond that, Nosferatu and Arsenic and Old Lace are also excellent.”

  1. Honestly, I’m kind of interested in Beast. I always find Idris Elba entertaining and a twist on the Jaws-type film looks promising.

I could be horribly wrong because whenever you add kids into the mix, it’s often a bad idea.
