HP4 is pretty darn superb, glad to see it doing well.

Saw it in Imax yesterday. Hmmm… bigerer dragonses!

And if you’re interested in non-genre, Walk the Line is a remarkable film with a stunning central performance.

Is there a reason to see it on a big screen? I could add it to my rental queue, but my big screen budget is filled with wizards, witches, wardrobes, and large primates.

Hey, who wouldn’t want a twenty-foot-tall Reese Witherspoon?

This really worked for me on a big screen, but I suppose it would probably be okay at home. Still, the film features a number of larger-than-life characters….

Worst. Pun. Ever! Bad Shredder! No time for you!

A bad pun, to be sure, but– no, seriously– the big screen suits people whom we’ve mythologized, and that includes Cash, Elvis, Jerry Lee, and others portrayed in this film.

I never thought of that… a good excuse to go see it again :-)

I hate you all. My local IMAX is just showing The Polar Express.

That’s a year old! And I’m not sure it’s an actual Imax movie, sometimes they just use regular reels on an Imax screen ya know…

I think the Polar Express they’re showing now is in 3D. The technology might be worth it.

Hmmm, if they start rendering 3D animation movies in Imax 3D, I think I’ll have a nerdgasm : )
Well, good movies, not the polar express, or ice age… Ok, Pixar movies. If Pixar starts doing it, I’ll cry tears of geeky joy.
