This week’s shipping
list includes a number of notable items. Those
that caught my eye are listed below.
DC Comics
- GREEN LANTERN #6 – This finally comes out.
- GREEN LANTERN CORPS RECHARGE #3 (OF 6) –
Continuing this limited
series. - INFINITE CRISIS #3 (OF 7) – Sure to be a top
seller.
Marvel Comics
- BOOK OF LOST SOULS #3 – The series by JMS
continues. - FANTASTIC FOUR #533 – If memory serves, this
launches the latest
round of “Hulk vs. Thing.” I may be thinking of that
an issue early,
though. - FANTASTIC FOUR BY J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI VOL 1
PREMIERE HC –
Collecting the first storyline in Straczynski’s
run. - SPIDER-WOMAN ORIGIN #1 (OF 5) – Spider-Woman gets
the “origin”
treatment. She seems to be a big deal at Marvel right
now, with the
recent Essential, this miniseries, and her own story
arc in New
Avengers. - SUPREME POWER HYPERION #3 (OF 5) – JMS continues
this bridge
between Supreme Power and the new
Squadron Supreme
launching next March. - ULTIMATE GALACTUS BOOK 2 SECRET TP – I’ll be
picking up this
collection. - ULTIMATE WOLVERINE VS HULK #1 (OF 6) – By
Lindelof, this series
launches today. It seems to be solicited on a
bi-monthly basis. - ULTIMATE X-MEN FANTASTIC FOUR SPECIAL – To be
followed by next
month’s Ultimate Fantastic Four / X-Men Special.
Book of Lost Souls?
So is “Book of Lost Souls” a Marvel Superhero Title, or a standalone of some sort?
Re: Book of Lost Souls?
It’s a standalone title in a universe of JMS’ creation.
It’s published by Marvel through their ICON imprint, which
means it’s creator-owned.
