Another week, another list of options. The pickings
are getting better.

First, the genre releases:

Now, the non-genre releases:

Finally, the pick of the week. The X-Files:
Complete Third
Season
was just a great year for a great show.
That’s got to
have my vote, as the fifth season likely will when
seasons four
through six come out on March 28, 2006.

  1. Bubble
Notable about Bubble is that it’s simultaneously (sp?) being released on DVD, in theatres and on pay-per-view.

There’s already a really excellent Special Edition of "Enter the Dragon"… I wonder what they’re doing with it now. Ditto the Pink Panther movies (I have the nice case with five of them).

I’m always tempted to get S1 of Knight Rider… just cause I, well, never saw the first episode.

The A-Team is an excellent show. Seriously. I think kids should watch it. It teachers about cooporation and inginuity – every episode has an extended scene where they build something. I remember my sister and I would watch it when we were kids cause we thought B.A. looked cute wearing welding goggles. I don’t know why he always falls for the milk trick though.

Well, if you want to see just the first episode (actually a two-parter – so 2 episodes), I’m sure there are "ways" to acquire them. Heck there are even legal (itunes required) ways to buy just the first two episodes. No reason to spend $40 to see $4 worth of television. Or just go to netflix and rent ’em.

  2. A Shot in the Dark
A Shot in the Dark was actually the first Pink Panther movie made, but it was released after The Pink Panther.

  3. I Remember All-American Girl
It was created way back in the 1990s when people thought Margaret Cho was funny. Of course, by the time people had watched one or two episodes they learned the awful truth…

  4. Dune (3rd edit)
I’d love to see a review of the new Dune edit. The director’s 4 hour cut, the one with the drawings, was a bit dumb for the same reason the original US edition of Blade Runner was dumb – the viewer doesn’t need to be constantly blugeoned with endless monologues, personally I just wanted more finished footage. So what you guys think?
