Amazon.com has cut the price on the first three seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. It’s down about 1/2 from the original list.
50%? I’m not sure that I’d consider the drop close to 50%, more like 25% according to amazons own math.
List Price: $69.98 Price: $51.99 You Save: $17.99 (26%)

Ah, but the ORIGINAL list prices were around $110. (I don’t have the numbers handy, but it was somewhere around a hundred a season.)
This is almost affordable now. :)

I didn’t notice the new list price, so yes, I was going off the original $110 price tag. Definitely less painful a purchase.

Ahh, didn’t realize original was refering to the price when it was released and not the price that most places currently sell it for.

You’re still not quite getting it – until they cut the price, places really were selling it for around $100 a season. For example, they only cut the price on Seasons 1-3, so here’s Season Four of DS9 on Amazon, at $117. Now does it make sense?
