      That was a fairly sucky episode.

      Hehe. I would have said it but I go through paroxysms of posting on about four different sites and this week it’s a B42 lull.

      For those who didn’t watch it, the main reason the episode sucked is because the whole "take over bodies and continue a war" schtick is old and, really, the "take over bodies" schtick in general is incredibly well-worn territory for Stargate. While the mechanism of the takeovers was interesting (two dead pilots who had their minds recorded to provide "human black boxes"), the episode overall was boring and was simply a way to rehabilitate Mitch Pileggi’s character after it was revealed that he’d been a Goa’uld for some period of time.

      I kept waiting for them to paint half their face black.

      not to mention the monster plot hole of not imprinting him in the first place would have killed him, or just saying he was a butcher and shooting him would have killed him, or many quick and easy ways that wouldn’t involve killing the person you posessed…
