Weekly Comics Discussion – March 8, 2006

As always, complete listings are available here,
with those that caught my eye listed below.

DC Comics

  • AMERICAN VIRGIN #1 – This, not surprisingly, is
    for mature
    readers.
  • AUTHORITY REVOLUTION BOOK TWO 2 – Well
    reviewed.
  • BIRDS OF PREY BETWEEN DARK AND DAWN TP – Another
    well reviewed
    title.
  • FABLES #47 – One of DC’s more original
    titles.
  • TOM STRONG #36

Marvel Comics

  • CABLE DEADPOOL #26 – I keep hearing how funny this
    is. TPB volume
    four is also out today.
  • FANTASTIC FOUR FIRST FAMILY #1 (OF 6) – The
    miniseries kicks off.
  • INCREDIBLE HULK PLANET HULK PRELUDE TP – I’m not
    sure if this
contains anything outside the Hulk series itself.
  • PULSE #14 – The last issue for a while. Issues
    6-14 will
be reviewed this weekend; I have a few things I want
    to say about this
    series.
  • SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN #24 – The “Feral” arc
    continues.
  • ULTIMATE IRON MAN VOL 1 PREMIERE HC – Collecting
    the Orson Scott
    Card series.
  • ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #91 – I think this is also a
    home for
Deadpool, though not the version we’re used to.
  • X-MEN THE 198 #3 (OF 5) – The miniseries
    continues.
