Weekly Comics Discussion – March 15, 2006

Once again, the complete solicitations can be found here.

DC Comics

Note that many of these DC titles are still involved
in the “One Year
Later” event.

  • 100 BULLETS #70 (MR) – Well reviewed, but I
    haven’t read it.
  • BATMAN LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT #201
  • BATMAN YEAR ONE HUNDRED #2 (OF 4)
  • GREEN ARROW #60
  • INFINITE CRISIS SECRET FILES 2006
  • SHOWCASE PRESENTS SUPERMAN FAMILY VOL 1 TP
  • SUPERMAN #650
  • SUPERMAN SHAZAM FIRST THUNDER #4 (OF 4)
  • SUPERMAN THE DAILY PLANET TP
  • TEEN TITANS ANNUAL #1

Marvel Comics

  • ANNIHILATION PROLOGUE – Kicking off Marvel’s
    cosmic event this
summer, which will likely be overshadowed by Civil
    War.
  • ESSENTIAL GODZILLA TP – The one and only printing.
    If you have
any interest, now is the time, as this will likely
    turn out somewhat
like the Essential Conan volume did, and
    actually increase in
    value.
  • FOUR #28 – Formerly “Marvel Knights Four.” The
    final issue will
    be #30.
  • FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN – Peter
    David’s run continues.
  • RUNAWAYS #14 – They’ll be teaming up with Young
    Avengers when the
YA title goes on hiatus during Civil War.
  • SPIDER-WOMAN ORIGIN #4 (OF 5) – Spider-Woman has
    been rejuvinated,
thanks to being a member of the Avengers.
  • ULTIMATE EXTINCTION #3 (OF 5) – Wrapping up the
    Gah Lak Tus story.
  • ULTIMATE X-MEN #68 – Kirkman’s run continues.

The new issue of Previews is also out today.
I’ll have my
preview of selections from the solicitations up
shortly.
