  1. Better there
Than after Gilmour Girls. Sure, one of the guys used to be on that show, but I don’t think the girlies will follow him from a cute show to a scary show even if they do find him hot.

Side note: Am I the only one who’s underwhelmed that Smallville returns? All I can think of is "meh, more Lana and Clark bitching at each other".

I was excited for new Smallville… until I saw the trailer.

I didn’t even have to see it, I just had it described to me.

Much like y42, I’m really not looking forward to more Lana/Clark "relationship issues" – Supernatural on the other hand can have as many relationship issues between the Bros. Winchester and scary devil-girl as they want to.

Smallville frustrates me. Every time they hook me with some cool episodes, they almost immediately lose me again with boring eps that simply rehash the same old dynamics we’ve seen for years now. I’ll get bored with the show, skip a few episodes, then come back in time for the next kick-ass ep. And so on and so on. This is one of the most maddeningly inconsistent genre shows I’ve ever seen.

I’m currently in a "meh" cycle so I really don’t care that it’s back tonight.

What’s funny is that I have the same kind of relationship with the Superman comics, but the cycle there is years long, not weeks.

What is wrong with you guys it’s not all Lana and Clark bitching it has some pretty cool plots in it. If you read the forums talking about Smallville they all agree with me.
