There are a few items likely to interest several of our readers this week.
First, the genre releases:
- The Batman – The Complete Second Season: This may not live up to the series from ten years ago, but it’s not completely terrible. (At least, it wasn’t when I stopped watching it.)

- Headspace: Last year’s indie horror

- Infinite Ryvius: Anime Legends Complete Collection
- Inu Yasha – Season 3 Box Set
- Jubei Chan Ninja Girl Anime Legends Complete Collection

- Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope: The 1977 and 2004 versions packaged together. Han shoots first!
- Star Wars Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back: The 1980 and 2004 versions packaged together.

- Stephen King Thriller Collection: Includes “Dreamcatcher” (which I haven’t seen), “The Shawshank Redemption” (fantastic) and “The Shining” (also excellent.) Well worth considering.

- Ultimate Tear Jerker Collection: Includes “Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood,” “A Walk to Remember” and “Message In A Bottle.”
Finally, the pick of the week.
I’ve got to go with The Empire Strikes Back. It’s a tough choice with the Stephen King set out there, but this Star Wars title has new content, while I don’t think the King set does.
Pick
What, you don’t want the tear-jerker thing?
Hehe, another week with nothing I want! Yay!
Actually I like the Star Warses but I already have the remastered ones.
The Batman
The second season is the last of the good seasons of this mediocre cartoon. In the third season, they got rid of the cool Edge-written opening to replace it with some cheesy tune. Plus, it really should be called The Batgirl, since more time is spent dealing with her character. Additionally, Ming Na Wen is gone. I agree that this treatment isn’t as good as the 90’s cartoon. Nobody has the Batman mood and voice like Kevin Conroy.
