      The Ernest Halloween film begins with a witch putting a curse on the Puritan judge who sentences her to death. His descendents will become stupider with each generation. As I wrote elsewhere when I reviewed it, this would explain the audience for these movies.

        Ernest Scared Stupid isn’t even in this set. This collects the Ernest movies so bad that they didn’t rate a theatrical release.
