From Pan’s Labyrinth to the Mountains of Madness?

Guillermo del Toro’s next film may be a big-budget adaptation of Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness.

Of course, when I consider the fan success of last year’s independent Call of Cthulhu, the fact that Hollywood’s version (at one point slated for release last autumn) seems to be in limbo, and Hollywood’s track record with Lovecraft, I choose to adopt a “Wait and See” attitude.

  1. Alternative…
Or… it could be Hellboy 2. Either way, it sounds really freaking cool. (By the way, I’ve got the Hellboy animated film on order from RightStuf (they’ve got it on sale), and I may submit a review after I’ve watched it – unless somebody beats me to it).

I got one of them off TVTorrents, it was pretty good. I’m not sure how well it follows the comic, but it kept me entertained for the whole thing.
