As always, the complete list can be found here.
DC Comics
- 52 WEEK #40
- ACTION COMICS ANNUAL #10
- ASTRO CITY THE DARK AGE BOOK TWO #2
- DETECTIVE COMICS #828
- NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET #5
- OUTSIDERS #45
- SHAZAM THE MONSTER SOCIETY OF EVIL #1 (OF 4)
- SUPERGIRL #14
- SUPERMAN CHRONICLES VOL. 2 – These are the chronological publications of the character’s stories in full colour. I liked the format and price of the series when I picked up the first Batman set, but given the size of the book and the fact they only print one a year, I chose not to continue collecting. (I’d like to have all of the old stories, but when the number of reprint pages available in a given time frame is less than the number of new pages they’ve printed in the same time, collecting these would be a losing battle. Right now, I’m hoping the negotiations for the DVD-ROMs through GIT Corp come to fruition, given how happy I am with the Marvel releases.)
Marvel Comics
- BULLET POINTS #4 (OF 5)
- DARK TOWER GUNSLINGER BORN #1 – Based on the Stephen King series, with King’s plot outlines and blessing. I lost interest in the series, but I have to admit this is a big leap forward for Marvel and getting comics into the hands of those who don’t normally read them.
- ESSENTIAL MS MARVEL VOL 1 – I’ve had to pass on this one.
- FANTASTIC FOUR THE END #5 (OF 6)
- FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD SPIDER-MAN #17
- GHOST RIDER TEAM-UP – A trade of classic Ghost Rider team-up stories, just in time for the movie. (I’ll have a review of Essential Ghost Rider Vol. 1 done in time for the movie, as well.)
- GHOST RIDER TRAIL OF TEARS #1 (OF 6)
- INCREDIBLE HULK #103
- IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN #5
- NEW AVENGERS #27 – Clint Barton and Wanda Maximoff are at the centre of this storyline.
- NEWUNIVERSAL #3
- SQUADRON SUPREME HYPERION VS NIGHTHAWK #2 (OF 4)
- UNCANNY X-MEN #483
And…
Kiss, having previously been Marvel superheroes, Psycho Circus warriors, and guests on Scooby-Doo, are launching a new
comic book series.
