Weekly Comics Discussion – March 7, 2007

As is traditional, the complete list is here. I’ve noticed that’s now a redirect to a new URL format, so that may change shortly. I’ll make sure the links in these articles work on the days they are published.

Dark Horse

  • STAR WARS LEGACY #9

DC Comics

  • 52 WEEK #44 – When this is down, it’ll be replaced by another weekly series called Countdown.
  • DETECTIVE COMICS #829
  • NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
  • NIGHTWING #130
  • OUTSIDERS #46
  • SHAZAM THE MONSTER SOCIETY OF EVIL #2 (OF 4)
  • SHOWCASE PRESENTS HOUSE OF MYSTERY VOL 2
  • SUPERMAN BATMAN #32

Marvel Comics

  • BULLET POINTS #5 (OF 5) – I’ll probably get the trade.
  • CAPTAIN AMERICA #25 CW – The Civil War crossover just got larger. When I get back home on Sunday I’ll be there a week; I suspect that I’ll have a Civil War comic review up each day that week until I get caught up, starting with Civil War #7, and then moving through the rest in publication order.
  • CIVIL WAR INITIATIVE
  • CRIMINAL #5
  • DARK TOWER GUNSLINGER BORN #2 (OF 7)
  • FANTASTIC FOUR #543 CW – Ends this crossover arc, and will get a review as well.
  • FANTASTIC FOUR THE END (OF 6) – Ending this series.
  • FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #18 – Continuing a Sandman arc in the “Back In Black” line.
  • INCREDIBLE HULK #104 – Planet Hulk moves toward World War Hulk.
  • MARVEL ZOMBIES ARMY OF DARKNESS #1 – The Marvel Zombies meet Ash.
  • MIGHTY AVENGERS #1 – A new title for the government sponsored Avengers.
  • NEWUNIVERSAL #4
  • ONSLAUGHT REBORN #3 (OF 5)
  • SQUADRON SUPREME HYPERION VS NIGHTHAWK #3 (OF 4)
  • ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #106 – First issue of Mark Bagley’s final arc. This one is about Daredevil’s team that was assembled in the second annual. I expect great things from this story, and hope I’m not disappointed.
  • ULTIMATE VISION #3 (OF 5)
  • UNCANNY X-MEN #484

  1. Captain America #25
If you’re looking for "Captain America #25," get it and read it quickly. I just had the story spoiled by a cow-orker who doesn’t read comics but is addicted to CNN. This is one you want to read yourself before somebody spoils it for you.

  2. SPOILER

You may click on this link if you have absolutely no intention of reading the Civil War follow-up which Fiz mentions in his post.
