  1. Rouseau
What it just me or is the footage shot of Kate, Sayeed, Locke, and Rouseau really different?

For alot of the close up shots, you only ever see Kate, Sayeed and Locke, but then on moving shots and pan shots occasionaly you see Rouseau, but not always. In fact we don’t see her or Sayeed cross the barrier even. I’m wondering if Mira was unavailable or there is some rule about screen time and billing that is keeping her out of many of the close up shots of the group. During the movment shots she’s only ever shown from behind, which makes me think that thats a double and not really Mira.

I started wondering whats up halfway through the episode.

I noticed it as well but I was thinking it was the writers playing up the whole "I don’t really want to be part of your group" vibe they started last week. I remember her saying she didn’t want anything to do with the Flame when Sayid first started towards it.

And don’t forget she’s spent 16 years on the island with little or no human contact, so she’s probably gotten to the point where she prefers being by herself.

I wonder if this has anything to do with an article I read a while back where some airport technicians x-rayed footage even though there were big "FILM – DO NOT X-RAY" signs on the boxes.

  2. Locke is the new Boone
Remember how Boone used to to a major frakkup once a week untile he finally died?

Now it’s Locke’s turn to keep getting people killed despite his best intentions.

Locke isn’t as stupid as you make him out to be. Locke has a secrete. He killed patchy to keep that secrete. He seemed to know Locke from before the crash. 77 did not blow up the flame. The proof of that is the fact that he knew about the C4 and took some. He blew up the flame intensionally. I think it has something to do with "the LIST" Patchy said Kate and Saed(sp?) are not on it but was about to go into some diatribe about Locke when he was conveniently offed.

I can’t remember the exact quote, but I could tell that Patch was about to say that the Locke he knew about was either in a wheelchair or paralyzed. Either way, it doesn’t mean he knew Locke personally, just his medical history.

Remember, the Others know the history of all the castaways. Like when Juliet brought that big file of information on Jack early in the season. Like Nick said, Patchy didn’t know Locke before, he just knew his history. He was definitely about to say something about Locke being in a wheelchair before the crash.

I figured Locke was just pissed that the guy was playing with his head. Remember the guy claimed that it was a warning system. Either Patchy was hoping to kill one of them or die himself.

I’m beginning to suspect that Desmond is not alone in his experience. Patchy seemed to indicate that Locke wasn’t acting how he remember him. Possibly some of the Other’s have experinced a lesser form of it. Maybe Patchy had met Locke in a possible future where Locke joined the Others. Maybe the List is of people they remember from the future as joining them.
