It doesn’t look like any of us caught this one. (Heck, half of us don’t even get that channel due to living outside the U.S.) Hence, a discussion instead of a review. How was it?

agreed. i’ll probably give it a couple more episodes, but the outlook isn’t bright.
Mutants Well, other than them taking GREAT pains to dance around and NOT uset he word "mutant" when they were clearly describing mutants … It was alright.
Put in context, "Encounter at Farpoint" wasn’t a gem either, but TAHT series turned out OK and the Pilot of B5 didn’t make that much sence (at the time)… So all-in-all, I agree with the above people. There’s enough there to warrent further investigation. But there are a few visible ""shark tanks"" and they could easily jump one with little or no notice.

Disappointed…but… In preperation for the new series, I TiVo’d the movie. It pretty much seemed like your typical low-budget, East-European sci-fi flick, but it had some potential. The series takes out all the built-in history and throws it out the window. They’re completely ignoring the back-story (hoping you haven’t seen the movie, I suppose) and seem to be trying to keep some suspense going while they reveal what Jane’s new backstory is going to be. So she falls out of a 46-story window and survives for no apparent reason. The only saving grace thus far: Kristanna Loken is hot. Very hot. Especially after the last season of ‘The L Word’ watching her get her lesbian on. But isn’t the hot chick the kernel of classic SF?

Wasn’t as good as Blade Runner. Wasn’t as good as La Femme Nikita. Wasn’t as good as Dark Angel. Heck, it wasn’t even as good as Witch Hunter Robin.
But it was good enough where I’ve got it on my TiVo season pass. For now.
Terrible Really terrible. Bad acting, bad writing, bad story. It was really just a long string of cliches tacked together. Really not much to see here. If you just want an excuse to look at whatever her name is, its worth that.
On the subject of whatever her name is. Worst actress ever. For me Terminator 3 didn’t suck IN SPITE of her. This lady should never ever act in anything. She really is pretty terrible.
Loken looks like she has the begining of bloat. Start of a double chin, a little fat in the face. They kept it dark enough and fuzzy enough on body shots that you couldn’t tell or not if she’s getting porky.

What is with people’s obsession with hollywood women’s weight? Are you kidding me? Getting porky? Some people REALLY need to reexamine themselves if some woman on television gaining 5 pounds is newsworthy.
