  1. non-review comment starter stuff
I don’t feel like writing a proper review but here’s some stuff to chew on…

I kinda liked this episode’s "The following takes place between 7pm and 7:45pm." gimmick, but I’m not sure why. It’s not original any more, by any stretch. Thanks, Kiefer Sutherland.

Also, I just can’t get enough of the notion of the Doctor having a traveling companion who’s fairly bright and competent all by her lonesome. The 70s and 80s had a few, sure, but there were a lot of not-so-bright folks in there too.

    Boo hiss at the MIBs.

This felt to me like the best episode of the season so far. It was beautifully-paced, well acted, great special effects. Martha fits in beautifully. :)

It was fun. Then again, I have never watched 24. Cute how that number, reversed, is the title of this episode. :)

P.S. Yah, boo hiss evil MIBs. So when does Torchwood come in?

Completely agree, a nice small scale story that worked really well. Nothing I can find fault with for once, great fun and great television.

I don’t know, I didn’t like it that much. I really like what they did with the Doctor/Martha dynamic and really like the building backplot with Martha’s Mom. But didn’t this show strike anyone as being very familiar to the, albeit excellent, "The Satan Pit" episodes from last year?

At least the doors didn’t talk ;-)…..

          Burn with me!

Yes, it was familiar. I was halfway expecting one of the helmets to come off, and the face to be covered with graffiti.

          Reversed, not inversed. 42 — 24 . :P

  2. User Friendly?
Who programs a computer to announce when life expectancy is 0%? That’s just unnice :-)

Good episode, if not a bit predictable though.

My thoughts exactly. I thought, man the computer was programmed by a real sick puppy. Also did anyone else notice that the doors all had signs that read "Warning Danger of Death."
