Finally, the pick of the week. If I were a fan of John Wayne, Gary Cooper, or westerns in general, this would be a tough choice. Thankfully, I’m not. I’ll go with The Third Man issued by the Criterion Collection. It’s British film noir. Check it out.

Ah. Well, that’s out, too. I’ve also learned May 26 would have been his hundredth birthday had he lived this long, which explains the huge volume of his movies coming out this week.
