Weekly Digital Disc Picks – September 4, 2007

Amazon.com still doesn’t have an alphabetical listing. Sorting by price helps sometimes, but there are still irregularities at the $9.99, $16.99 and $17.99 price points (which are so popular that they fill several screens worth of results), so I may still be missing some releases. I’ve cross checked again the first five screens of best sellers, so I hope I haven’t missed any.

Finally, the pick of the week. While there is definitely good stuff here, nothing’s really spectacular. Given that the September TV and October summer blockbuster market floods are just around the corner, I recommend waiting a few weeks and deciding if this week’s releases are really the ones you want to budget for.

    Yeah! Octopussy is the last Bond movie I actually want that I don’t have yet!

    And I’m also excited about season 2 of Robot Chicken. Count that as my pick of the week.

      All I know of Robot Chicken is the music video for "Weasel Stomping Day," but it certainly piqued my interest.
