Weekly Digital Disc Picks – October 2, 2007

October is upon us, and with it, the first wave of summer blockbuster titles and horror flicks, mixed in with some healthy library titles (many in high definition formats) designed to fill the shelves in time for the Christmas shopping season.

Finally, the pick of the week. I’m going with The Jungle Book, which edges out FF2 and numerous high def library titles simply because of its broader appeal.

    Is this show any good? I really like The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, but I don’t know anything about Silverman.

      It’s hit and miss. Ok, it’s more hit and miss and miss and hit and miss and miss. It can be disturbingly non-PC at times, though, and you’ve got to love that.

      S2 is starting on TV this week I think, and I /seriously/ doubt there’ll be any continuity you can’t figure out, so you can give it a try. just, uh, don’t expect anything high-brow.
