  1. Good Episode
I liked this episode a lot. Parkman’s Dad established himself as an great villain in a very short amount of time. His power is incredibly scary.

I also liked the lack of Sylar this week. Although I’m almost certain that before the season is out he’ll absorb the Hispanic girl’s power much to his own detriment.

Her bros tasty, tasty brain is right there for all his inconvenience-nullifying needs.

I agree, I think Sylar is more interested in Maya’s brother’s power, and that is sort of hinted at if you watched the sneak peak at next week’s episode.

I was under the impression that their powers are a matched pair. She can’t control hers and his seems only to do that. Also, don’t forget they’re twins: Wonder Twin powers, activate!

I agree I think the powers don’t work without each other. And if Sylar absorbs them both, well he won’t be able to use both powers at once.

There better be a damn good point for Sylar still being around and they better get to it soon. I still loathe the super hero story’s "we’ve killed the villian in a noble quest, oh wait he’s back" crap.

He used the image-projection and flight powers together in the dark future…

And the one and only reason why he’s not dead is that he’s too popular to kill off.
They asked people what they liked about the show, the people said Sylar, so they will give the people the Sylar they crave, and they will do so until the people vomit him up. Thus are the rules of serial publication: you produce what sells.

Okay, but if they get a pet space monkey, I quit watching.

He wants both (he’s a collector), but he understands that he has to start with the null-power, that way he’ll be safe from the power when he goes for the girl.

Without it, if he attacks her and she goes all black-eyes, he’s done for.

  2. Clarification?
I can’t remember …. did Mohinder ever meet Niki/Jessica prior to this episode? When he sees her in the hallway i could of sworn he referred to her by name. (Were they both in the courtyard in the season 1 finale? Are we to assume they got to know each other after that? Does that mean Mohinder knows Micah?)

Also: now we have some idea where Peter’s lightningbolt power came from … he’s clearly meet Veronica Mars before.

I thought Mohinder ran into a collapsed DL and helped get him out of the building into the square for the final showdown, so I assume he would have met Niki and Micah at that time. I’ll have to watch that episode again. Maybe Micah will recognize Mohinder and hide from him next episode? But then you would assume Micah would warn Monica about him..

I’m just glad Micah’s other cousin (the punk kid) wasn’t in this episode. That character annoys the hell out of me.

  3. Finally
I’m so glad Kristen Bell finally showed up!

Man, is she ever goign to be in a show where she’s NOT in a car talking to her dad who busts her for doing something she’s not supposed to?

HAHA! I had the same thought, and couldn’t help but hope she’d pull out a telephoto lens. It would be nice to see Enrico Colantoni in a cameo, somehow.

    • Re: Parkman’s Dad

Does anyone know why they changed the actor in this role?

      We haven’t seen him before.
