Rose Returns

Alexius writes, Rose returns for series four of Doctor Who:

Following a series of unconfirmed reports across the media this morning, we’re delighted to officially confirm that Billie Piper will return as Rose Tyler in Series Four of Doctor Who.

Anything you may read elsewhere about when, how or for how long Rose returns to Doctor Who should be treated as pure speculation at this point

  1. They really shouldn’t do this
Rose was great the 1st season and insufferable the 2nd.
But they did manage to give her a very memorable send off.
To reconnect with her now just ruins it.

Agreed. Of course, this could be a different Rose. Also, the link doesn’t indicate if she will be a full-time companion or just a guest star.

A single episode of the Doctor looking at a 18 year old Rose, just before he shows up, maybe never interacting, or giving in, interacting, resulting 40 minutes of chaos, and finally a teary moment as he watches himself watch her, and does nothing.

        It could be done well.
