He’s not actually a criminal, was merely treated as one because of his knowledge. This isn’t a spoiler, he comes right out and says this when he meets DG the first time.
I’m really liking it so far. Kathleen Robertson is HAWT, and all the actors are really into it, the visuals are fantastic, and I really like where they’re going with it all. It’s very enjoyable so far.

Yeah, she was awful fun to watch, but I got a bit tired of the deliberate "Fly, my breasts! Be free!" bit whenever she unleashed her "flying monkeys".

Really, that was one of the best parts.
Not that it was a very good part in the grand scheme of the rest of the world, but Tin Man didn’t have a lot to work with…

I think the show is confused. It’s not the WWoO that we grew up watching on TV, but at the same time, it’s not something original. While I feel the tone is more in-line with Baum’s intent, I think Tin Man is just scene after disjointed, stolen scene of trite, uninspired, predictable garbage. For the first hour, I kept trying to figure out if this was a sequel (she’s Dorothy’s descendant) or the "reimagining" advertised.
Some of the touches are nice. "DG" was interesting for the first couple of uses. I also liked the blue, waitress dress. I thought Glitch’s zipper was out-of-place, though. And if they’re going to give the portable holoprojector initials, they should spell something meaningful.
Maybe Act II will be better, but I already feel that this is two–maybe three–hours of material stretched to six.
In other matters, Kathleen Robertson, especially in that costume, would make a very good Faye Valentine.

a leather jacket & blue jeans & black hair == proto-goth? for someone who rides a motorcycle? sheesh you guys are harsh.
Just finished watching the third part, and overall i liked the series. a lot better than the other dreck movies that scifi makes.

I liked the series overall but, considering the story was six hours long, the ending felt a little rushed. A group hug and a single sentence that she barely gets out of her mouth before they cut to commercial with the credits flashing past?

I completely agree. They had 6 hours, they could have cut SOMETHING else to give an extra minute at the end.

I just watched the whole thing straight through, and it was my first viewing. I concur on the "rushed" feeling. It left me feeling that something was missing; that something somewhere got chopped, or shortened. I can’t say what it was, but it feels incomplete, and for the length of it, I can’t imagine how I came away with that feeling.
