Wheel of Time series to be completed

chad writes, Tor Books has selected Brandon Sanderson to complete the late Robert Jordan’s “Wheel of Time” series. In the last few months of his life, Jordan devoted a significant amount of time to the 12th and final volume, A Memory of Light, and he left “copious notes and hours of audio recordings.”

  1. well cool
frankly I’ve never heard of this guy…. BUT he gets a lot of high praise and at this point I think almost any decent writer could finish this series off (PLEASE).

I’ve been waiting for years for this thing to end… I’m glad it’ll finally be over and I can see what happens.

If he can do as decent a job as that guy did with the latest Heinlein novel I will be very happy.

If he instead butchers it like Herbert’s son did with the Dune series, well, I won’t be so happy.

That guy was Spider Robinson for inquiring minds.

I remembered the Spider part, I just didn’t remember the last name and was too lazy to do a quick google search.

I thought he did a very good job, the only times it was blatantly obvious it wasn’t written by Heinlein himself were the various references to real world events that occurred after Heinlein’s death.
