Comic Releases: January 30, 2008

Check here for the full list and here for the list, minus mature items.

Lots of Star Wars, the post-reboot Spidey, and a Batman rerelease called The Man Who Laughs. The item is interesting in that the image of Conrad Veidt in the title role of the film adaptation of the Victor Hugo novel of that name clearly inspired the look of the Joker, and the next actor to play the Joker, of course, recently passed away.

  1. OT: Buffy S8 question
How have the last several been? I read the first 5, but missed "No Future for You", partially because I thought it was a Faith sub-story, and partially because I never know when they come out. I just read #10, because it’s self-contained. Thoughts on NFFY?

I thought it was interesting and seemed to be setting up for a Faith/Giles spin-off. The Buffy Season 8 has been great so far and NFFY maintains the quality.

  2. The Most Important Thing On This List
The final issue of Y: The Last Man.

I’m sad and happy it is over. It’s an awesome read.
