  1. Missed it…
For some reason my TiVo decided that a rerun of a higher-priority show was more important than the season finale of this show.

I usually keep on top of the to-do list and catch this kind of thing, but this one slipped by.

Does Fox put up shows for online viewing? If no, I think it’s worth your time to find a… not so reputable… source for viewing. This one answers some questions, pays some things off, and asks a few more questions that are a little on the bizarre side.

hulu.com carries alot of Fox stuff including this show. You can sign up for a beta test account. Usually you get access within a week after you sign up. These 2 episodes will probably be up by then.

They actually do have them up on their site. For some reason I didn’t think they had them online, but they even have a Firefox plugin to watch them. Now I just need to decide if I want to watch it on their site on a 21" widescreen PC monitor, or download it from a "not so reputable" source and watch on a 42" LCD TV. :)

It serves you right for Tivo’ing "Flavor of Love 3" anyway.

Ha. Actually, it was "How I Met Your Mother", and the episode was Slapsgiving. A great episode, and I did watch it last night, but I had already seen it and would have preferred to watch SCC instead.

I think I may have to pursue a "less reputable" avenue as someone else put it. My new DVD recorder says it’ll play divx, perhaps I need to test that feature out. :)

          "Less Reputable"

Man, this site makes me feel like I’m standing on a digital street corner, wearing a trench coat with all kinds of things hung on the inside, asking people, "Hey man, need a torrent? I got shows, I even got shows fresh from the BBC!"

Having said that, if anyone is looking for an easy way to get Time Shifted video through a distributed distribution method, ask me and I’ll help you get it going.

Yeah, but nobody wants to be the one called out by the **AA for blatantly promoting "illegal" file sharing. :)

I think it’s great that most of the television networks have stepped up and put the full episodes on their websites for free. That has been the single biggest factor in my lack of using file sharing for TV shows in the last year or so. Cable networks tend to repeat shows several times through the week, so there really wasn’t a problem with them.

I finally broke down last night and watched the SCC finale on the Fox site, and the quality was pretty good. Overall I thought it was a good episode, though I wasn’t too keen on the ending cliffhanger.

  2. Good show
Everyone involved seems to be doing a great job.
From writers, directors, actors, stunts and fx.
I really hope it gets another season.

I agree. An excellent episode. I’ve come to expect them from this show.

PLEASE FOX LET THIS SERIES LIVE!

I agree, and I was surprised by that. I really didn’t expect much going in, but sometimes they fool you. Really hoping they don’t Fox this show.

  3. so…
so… are they getting a new actress to play the friendly robot? She’s going to need a lot of work to repair the artificial skin, could be an opportunity. Personally I really like Summer Glau and would not be happy about that AT ALL they need to pay her whatever she asks, (within reason).

I figure this will end up like Lana blowing up on Smallville: A cheap trick used as a cliffhanger, with a cheap payoff. I suppose we’ll see a flash of her detecting the explosives and jumping out the window opposite the camera angle, only to pop up in front of the guy before he walks away.

        OR:
she will just walk out of the flames slightly charred and go about her business.

Considering the ease with which they could just simply ignore the explosion as "trivial to a Terminator" that whole sequence doesn’t even rate the term "clif-hanger" in MY book. … Just a nice pyro shot to tide me over until the next season.

Now, if it IS an excuse to recast the roll, I’ll probably be disappointed… depending on who they choose.
