Oops… and Happy New Year

At some point over the weekend, the database server got toasted, and everything posted after about noon on Sunday was non-recoverable. “We apologize for the inconvenience.”

So now, my New Years’ resolution is to get even better backups in place. How about you? What are you looking forward to this year – Star Wars II, Harry Potter II, Lord of the Rings II, or something that doesn’t have a Roman numeral behind it?

  1. The Two Towers

While I am anxious to see the next Harry Potter and Star Wars flick, The Two Towers is tops on my list of movies to see this year.

Too bad it’s the last one to be released out of the three…

Don’t you mean “Return of the King” is the last of the three ?

That’s the last of the three LotR
movies. I think he was referring to the fact that
“The Two Towers” is released after the other two
movies he mentioned in the article. (The first two
are out in May, while TTT is out in December.)

  2. Spiderman
Comic books infrequently translate well to the big screen (or the tube), but I’m hopeful about Spiderman, since X-Men turned out quite excellent.
