Iron Man Makes it Big, Gets Sequel and More

The numbers are in, and Iron Man is huge. $100.75 million to be precise. And that’s just in the U.S. That makes it the second largest non-sequel opening ever (Spider-Man holds #1) and the 10th biggest opening of all time.

And today Marvel has announced that Iron Man 2 will debut April 30, 2010. Also that year will see a Thor movie. But wait, there’s more! in 2011, we’ll get Captain America and an Avengers movie.

Maybe if they put MORE scenes featuring Superman stalking his ex?
