TwistyHat writes, I suppose its hardly news, nor perhaps suprising – but maybe worth a mention for posterity. Scifi has moved Charlie Jade to its new timeslot: 3/2 AM perhaps succeeding where Vexcor failed:

new podcasts
A couple of the writers are doing podcasts for all the episodes and posting them at http://www.charliejade.net/
If you have questions for the writers, you can post them at this blog and they might be answered in a future podcast.

Re: new podcasts
Hey cool, thanks for the info.
season 2?
Given that wikipedia says that the season 2 scripts are already written (possibly several years ago), is there any hope of ever seeing it on the screen? The first season finished principle photography four years ago.

Re: season 2?
One of the creators said in an interview that almost all of the actors are still available. Actually he is collaborating on another project with the actor who plays 01-Boxer (forgot his name) right now. If the rights could be worked out and the funds obtained it would be possible to do a season 2.
Not that anyone is making any attempt at making it happen.
I doubt the new time slot is a good sign.
Always hopes
Consider how long it took a U.S. science fiction network to even acknowledge this thing existed.
Of course, moving an SF show to the Graveyard Slot has precedence as a Bad Move….
Re: Always hopes
Sci-fi channel is quickly moving to my ‘shittier than fox’ list. It’d be one thing if it was replaced by say a new episode of something versus the crap reruns.
