Finally, the pick of the week. In a somewhat mediocre week, Cheers: The Tenth Season stands out, as the show was still in its prime. Still, you may be better off holding out this week, as things really start to flood in come October.
A few good picks
Well, there are a couple good items this week – Volume 3 of Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggen. Black Mask on Blu-Ray (which looks like it’s got the original Chinese language audio, which is nice) – well those are the ones I’ve either seen or gotten advance notice on.
Eli Stone
My pick this week would be Eli Stone – Season 1. An argument could even be made to consider it genre, I suppose.
It’s been great so far, and it will be interesting to see where they take it this year.
My Pick of the Week
"It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"
Go with the classics, I say!

Re: My Pick of the Week
Amen to that, but $14 seems a bit steep for 25 minutes of 40=year-old cartoon. I’d rather see a complete Charlie Brown set and pay like $40 for the whole thing.
Re: My Pick of the Week
I paid $20 Canadian for the holiday specials, including the Christmas and Halloween specials on a single disc.
Re: My Pick of the Week
I paid fifty cents for an old VHS of the Christmas special at a yard sale and have never regretted it.
The things they release on Blu-Ray
Every Which Way But Loose? You’ve got to be kidding me. If Wal Mart ever comes up with the giant metal bin of $5 Blu-Ray releases, that one will be there. Right Turn Clyde!
