Hulu, Joost start offering streaming subtitled anime.

Not long after the demise of
Toonami
, Anime News Network is reporting that
several US anime distributors, notably Viz, Sony, and
Funimation, have signed agreements with streaming video service Joost, as well as Hulu.com to legally stream for free
subtitled episodes of various anime series including
such genre titles as Death Note, Naruto, Bleach, Cosmo
Warrior Zero, and the 2003 version of Astro Boy, with
more titles coming in the future for both services.

Can we get some free streamed DUBBed anime for those of us that prefer to watch shows and read books?

I am showing that they’re offering some dubbed series as well, but for royalty reasons, it’s more cost effective for them to stream subtitled anime rather than dubbed anime. I suspect that if you want to legally stream dubbed anime, you’d probably have to go through a for pay service (such as NetFlix’s Watch Now option).
