  1. Hugh Laurie!
Too bad he’s already playing a doctor, albeit a grumpy one. I miss his comical cheerful characters.

Yes!!! I agree completely, he’d be awesome. C’mon Fox it’s time to cancel House! ;-)

  2. Me.
    It should totally be me.

I wrote an open-letter to the BBC before, but they didn’t listen. Maybe this time!

  3. New Doctors
Tony Head is an obvious answer. I hope they do it.

Also, I’d love to see them not kill 10, but rather just start airing Eight adventures for a while, so they could go back to 10-nent.

Tony Head is too old for them, now they want a young hottie for the girls to drool over.

  4. Solution
    1. Find some good but starving unknown actor

    2. Sign him to a binding 5 year contract.

We are going through doctors too fast here. And they are going to need to deal with the Valyard thing sometime.

      What Valyard thing?

The "Valeyard" is a character from the old series, Season 23, and his identity has a significant connection to the Doctor’s regeneration cycle.

Of course, this is the same series that sunk Atlantis three times and someone eliminated all time-travelling Time Lords except for the Doctor, so I’m not certain we can call them on continuity.

Okay, I really needed more coffee or more sleep before posting that. However, the facts are correct; just the prose is awful.

You’re quite right, I do worry what’s going to happen when they run out of regenerations. Or are they going to ignore that bit of continuity?

There are means of obtaining a new cycle of regenerations of course.

Not to mention what might have happened as a result of the time war.

Well, yes, The Master got a hold of such a method during the Time War – or rather was granted a new cycle of Regenerations by the Time Lord-wait, er – that could be a bit of a problem…

I always took it as a rule of the Time Lords that limited regenerations. It was a term limit, not a biological one. Since the Time Lords gone, then there isn’t anyone to stop him from regenerating for a thirteen time.
