Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: “Brothers of Nablus”

Attention may have been diverted elsewhere last night. Did anyone see this episode? Does anyone want to discuss it?

    Am definitely confused.

The grocery store head-to-head felt like a heavy use of deux ex machina, I mean, she can’t have been that dumb, right? And shouldn’t the terminator have heard him anyway? It felt like a forced effort to add some tension, and even the house scene was borderline.

Why didn’t (forget her name) get injured when she was thrown out of the car?

      Riley is her name.

And I agree about the injuries unless they’re planning on making here into another Terminator assigned to protect John.

Riley is John’s buddy, not the girl who was thrown from the car. The girl who was thrown from the car is the run-away that Cameron/Girl-she’s-made-to-look-like found in that other episode.

(I could go look these up, but if the producers read this, they’d be more interested in how people react without fact checking, I’m sure.)

And I also was thinking she could end up being a bonus terminator.

Just pulled this off the Tivo last night… sorry for the late reply.

But thinking about your question… they did go through the effort of showing the terminator slow to a stop before he knocked her out of the car… And it’s an old car at that (maybe the door latches are faulty)…

Seems to me, that any injuries to her could possibly be so minor as to be safely ignored by the show…

Or maybe I’m just willing to suspend my disbelief more than you. (which is neither good nor bad, just different…)

I like the slow pondering pace *g* I am slightly annoyed at the late display of the credits.
