Three Genre Films added to National Film Registry

25 more films were added to the National Film Registry of The Library of Congress today by the National Film Preservation Board, bringing the total number of films to 500. Of the 25 films added, three were genre – The 1933 version of The Invisible Man (directed by James Whale and starring Claude Rains), the 1958 film The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (directed by Nathan H. Juran with special effects by Ray Harryhausen), and The Terminator. The first link has the full list of 25 (as there is some other good stuff on there too).
