Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Discussion: “Desert Cantos”

This week, Sarah and company search for the truth behind the factory.

The next couple of episodes will be discussed without a formal review– but I encourage you to submit your own. How would “Desert Cantos” rate?

  1. More adults, less kids?
The show’s premise doesn’t lend itself too credibly to "terminator/time-traveller of the week" stories, which they’ve managed to keep a fair handle on after establishing the major players. The focus on Sarah, on a character, for these last few episodes has been enjoyable. If they can keep up these character-driven stories, they might keep this show going.

Agreed, drop the whole John as an emo teenager arc and concentrate on Sarah and the search for skynet part.

…drop the whole John as an emo teenager arc and…

…start turning him into a bad-ass leader-of-the-future. PLEASE. I worry that they’re going to drag out "Emo John" as long as Smallville dragged out the Clark-Lana we-know-they-won’t-last-but-BAWWWWW thing.
