  • ALIENS #2 (OF 4)
  • CONAN THE CIMMERIAN #12
  • EMILY THE STRANGE III #1 (OF 4)

DC Comics

  • BLACKEST NIGHT TALES OF THE CORPS #2 (OF 3)
  • FINAL CRISIS AFTERMATH DANCE #3 (OF 6)
  • FINAL CRISIS LEGION OF THREE WORLDS #5 (OF 5) – And this finally ends, explaining how Impulse came back to the DCU as seen in “Flash: Rebirth #1” almost three months ago.
  • FREDDY JASON ASH NIGHTMARE WARRIORS #2 (OF 6)
  • GREEN LANTERN #44 (BLACKEST NIGHT) – Will be reviewed in complete story arcs.
  • OUTSIDERS #20
  • POWER GIRL #3
  • SHOWCASE PRESENTS BATMAN TP VOL 04
  • SUPERMAN CHRONICLES TP VOL 07
  • WEDNESDAY COMICS #3 (OF 12)

IDW Comics

  • STAR TREK SPOCK REFLECTIONS #1 – I believe this is another movie tie-in.

Image Comics

  • INVINCIBLE #64
  • YOUNGBLOOD #9

Marvel Comics

  • ALL NEW SAVAGE SHE-HULK #4 (OF 4) – Dark Reign
  • AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #600 – 104 pages, no reprints. I’ll try to make the time needed this weekend to get “Brand New Day” reviews caught up. They’ve been pretty lackluster between the end of the last review (around 550) and 590, picking up quickly after that.
  • AVENGERS INITIATIVE #26
  • BLACK PANTHER 2 – Dark Reign
  • DARK REIGN FANTASTIC FOUR #5 (OF 5) – Dark Reign
  • DARK WOLVERINE #76 – Dark Reign
  • DEADPOOL SUICIDE KINGS #4 (OF 5)
  • GUARDIANS OF GALAXY #16 – War of Kings
  • IMMORTAL WEAPONS #1 (OF 5)
  • INCREDIBLE HULK #600
  • MARVEL 1985 TP – Reading Millar’s “Fantastic Four?” You also need to read this to understand why they treated the big villain reveal like it was a big villain reveal.
  • MS MARVEL #42 – Dark Reign
  • NOVA #27
  • RUNAWAYS 3 #12

  1. In related news, oft-overlooked Arcana has upped its presence at San Diego ComicCon. There will even be a Clockwork Girl panel.

New comics of note include the Avengelyne vs Koni Waves crossover and the graphic novel Daddy’s Little Girl. The latter apparently concerns a rich party girl who is also the gatekeeper to a “secret morgue of monsters.”

    Anyone here read Arcana?

  2. Yeah, the ads for Spock Reflections in IDW’s comics are billing it as a sequel to their Film Prequel comic.

I’ll also be picking up Doctor Who: Room with a Deja View.
