It was an interesting setup for the season ahead. The only concern is the potential for over use of the Deus Ex Machina because, you know, the story it involves god. Kind of like how they got out of the cemetery..
Seems more like a setup for Deus Ex Deus :-)
Now if they find God on life support in a hospital in New Jersey after playing some Skee-Ball, then I might start to question the plot a bit. (Unless Kevin Smith was directing that episode)
