- Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassin’s Ball: Alex: Why does this movie exist!? The first film wrapped up all the loose ends, and killed off all of the cast except for 4 characters, none of whom appear in this film. Hell, the film hypes the return of the psychopathic racist Tremor brothers, all of whom were killed gruesomely in the film. What. The. Frak. Oh, and for the record – I thought the first movie was a fun film, but I didn’t like it enough that I’d do more than rent it or Netflix it.

Finally, the picks of the week. Alex says, “The only thing that I’ve seen this week is Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker, which was pretty good, but I don’t know if I’d give it a purchase. If you enjoy Michael Jackson’s music, I’d recommend at least renting it, because it’s basically a music video collection – and frankly, Michael Jackson had some pretty good music videos.” Blaine says, “The Bourne movies are enjoyable enough if you don’t already have them in one format or another. It’s not an overwhelming recommendation, though. Those start in February.”
New Tricks is a pretty cool British detective show, well worth catching, though this one is the second season.
