has once again rounded up a decent amount of
information about the next season of Buffy The
Vampire Slayer. Two recent articles talk about
official
information from the ATAS meeting given by Joss
Whedon and others and more
official snippets from various sources. Neither
article mentions the guest role for Britney Spears
that is going to happen. (I saw the video footage of
Joss confirming this at the Saturn awards.) Did
anyone out there choose to endure Crossroads?
Perhaps you could let us know how well she’d fit into
this cast.
Saturn Awards Comments
According to all reports that I’ve heard, when Joss
made the Britney Spears comment at the Saturn
Awards, it was immediately followed by a ‘just
kidding’.
It has been rumored, but last week at the ATAS
event
there was no mention of this at all. If Joss was serious
at the Saturn awards, why did this not come up in the
interviews? Also, the Britney camp has also not been
plugging what should be a major coup for the artist.
I doubt this is going to happen, especially since
last
year we had rumors of Shannen Doherty going to the
show after leaving ”Charmed”. Many sources reported
that as true, and it never happened.

Ah. The footage I saw was edited for the
commercial for the Saturn Award coverage, so that may have
been snipped. I hope it isn’t true, I haven’t many good
things about her acting talents.
